Wild, windy and wet - time to play

What to do when the weather is a washout - go in the studio and play of course!

I tore a pile of pages from an old  book  and screwed them up!
Treated them to a cup of tea and some gesso
Then flattened them out
Dried them off
And started sewing the pages together

To make little books!

Then off I went to download some black and white free images from the internet.

Hi again Lotti,
Your distressed pages are gorgeous and they will make fab pages for an art journal or similar book. I know how much fun it is to do this type of creating an also how very addictive it can become too. LOL

I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with these - sounds like it was a fun way to spend a bad-weather afternoon.

Tea and gesso - yum :-) They look wonderfully aged and tactile, Lottie. Looking forward to seeing the books.

What a great use of a yucky day. Are you going to show us the finished books? The pages look scrumptious.
