It was just getting dark when we looked out our patio door from the lounge and spotted this hot air balloon
We almost had a visitor in our garden. It flew over our garden then over our neighbours roof.
The pigeon seemed rather non-plussed
It was a beautiful sight
Off it flew with a whoosh and a whisper

Beautiful. they are fascinating aren't they. We get them over fairly regularly. Love to see them, but I would be lying on the bottom of the basket saying take me down if I was in one!
I love them, they often come near our house and you always know it's a peaceful still evening.
They certainly are beautiful to watch however I have no desire to be in one. Fire is not my friend.

When Rob and I were 50 (we were born in the same year) we went up in a balloon to celebrate - it was increadible - SO silent - you just can't believe what a great sensation it is.
Good job it didn't land in your garden - we landed in a field of peas! (no not pees - it wasn't a bumpy landing!)
