A is for..................

Wallet! Well actually it is for Alissa's Magic Wallet - which I can now show as it was for her birthday yesterday.

Do you remember these Magic Wallets?

It has been well documented by me about my 'card making blockage' so when I saw on Time for Crafting
that there was a template in this month's on line magazine, I just had to have a go - putting my own 'stamp' on it of course. The one in the online magazine is 'Jacob's Wallet', but I wanted to make a girly one for Alissa.

With a spring time birthday, the sun shining, I used the lovely K&Co Que Sera Sera papers, and embellishments from the same range to make a Spring time themed wallet.

Pink card inside with coordinating ribbons (instead of the usual paper).

Once made you lay some money or a message inside, then open it up the other way and the money is under the ribbon - as if by magic

Then open it up the opposite way and the money moves - clever huh?

And this is the back cover

When we phoned yesterday, she said how much she loved the surprise (especially as it had more money in it than in the demo above!)

I think I will make some more for presents instead of cards - I have some lovely new stamps to try out - so have ideas for 'grown up' wallets.

What a brilliant re-invention. Great take on updating and making beautiful something which was always very plain.
