This is my first attempt at Zuzu's monthly Challenge.
An altered matchbox
I found this a rather difficult challenge to do.
I inked, distressed, stamped, embossed. and rub and buffed.
I used texture paste, metallic paints, and perfect pearls.
And this was the end result.
It took me hours to do - and I tried my best, but it is not good enough.
So I left it a number of days and tried again this morning.
As you will see in the post above.
Lottie, it's a beautiful work of art! I'd have serious eye strain working on such a small area with so much detail!
ReplyDeleteThe colours are a lovely, opulent choice.
Well done!

Lottie.. I have to say I love them Both.... this one reminds me of the walls in a wonderful French palace or something .. with the lovely blue and gold leafing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work and thank you for joining in...
Hi Lottie, Good to see you, love the shabby chic look to this altered matchbox, it has parisian qualities about it, thanks for joining in our first challenge x
ReplyDeleteLove the inside of this one AND the colours - fab combo.
ReplyDeleteStunning colours and wonderful image. I love it!
ReplyDeleteLooks oriental to me and I love the colours - don't know why you're not happy with it but I suppose it's just not what you had in your head.
