'Time' captured in "amber"

The challenge on Gingersnap Creations this week is "Time" - which I have captured for this pendant

I made this using tiny brass watch parts which I layered and floated in amber UTEE
Not as easy as it sounds!
Sadly the photos do not capture the brass colouring of this which is a shame.

I even managed to get two tiny little watch 'hands' to float on a paper clock face.

My friend Cath sent me some bits and pieces which inspired me to make this.
The little clock charm was bright and shiny, but I transformed it to something older looking
with ink and a bit of distressing.  It actually looks the same colour as the pendant.
The metal disc behind is also exactly the same colour as the pendant -
grungey old blackened with age yellow brass.
(Made from a piece of grungeboard)

  6. That's really special. I love things made with clock parts for some reason. This would certainly be a talking point when you wear it. The amber looks perfect for the clock/time theme too.
