Lovely to see one again - we had them in the garden all the time and often late at night, when all the other birds had gone to roost. We also used to get 12 or 13 goldfinches on at a time on the feeders, but since this long, hard winter, we've only seen two. Sad how the weather so affects our birdlife. On another note, we got pics of a yellowhammer today - I was ecstatic!Cath Wilsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02693663036314974892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6159837414417397085.post-84407687761967198722010-05-02T15:04:47.038-07:002010-05-02T15:04:47.038-07:00Oh, I can just picture them Sally - thanks for vis...Oh, I can just picture them Sally - thanks for visitingAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17243672302584272760noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6159837414417397085.post-54124387221562769772010-05-02T14:59:25.254-07:002010-05-02T14:59:25.254-07:00Gorgeous green finch! They sit on the thistle seed feeder for so long each day they probably can't fly very far afterwards!Sally Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02957835282022260156noreply@blogger.com
